Making Brake Bracket in Inventor:
I began the process by making the brake bracket in Inventor. We were given instructions for this part, so it wasn't too difficult. All the measurements were given to us in class
Setting up Break Bracket in Fusion:
After setting up the brake bracket in Inventor, it had to be set up in Fusion. This process was fairly easy. The instructions were easy to follow. After setting it up, we then had to simulate the process to see if it would work on the mill.
Setting up the Mill:
I then had to set up the mill. This required loading my file onto the computer and then lining up the edges.
Milling Process:
Finished Break Bracket:
Through this process I became more comfortable in Inventor, Fusion, and with the mill. I had never used Fusion or the mill before, but I had used Inventor. This process required following a set of instructions on how to make the brake bracket in Inventor. This made me more comfortable with several functions. I was also introduced to Fusion, which was not too difficult.
